Found in a commercial plant nursery. The attendant on duty could not speak much English and I speak no Thai, so he could not tell me the names of any of the plants in English.

Brycegaring, thanks for the info. Doing some more checking based on your guidance, I think it might be an Adenium obesum, known in the Philippines as a Desert Rose and in Thailand as Bangkok Kalachuchi.
