Cornus kousa
My dad purchased this for my mom for mother's day a few years ago, and she was initially disappointed because she had wanted a pink flowering dogwood. But she is getting used to it ;) The japanese dogwood is a species of flowering tree of the family Cornaceae native to Korea, Japan, Taiwan, China, and Bhutan. They have simple white flowers, 4-10 cm, and pink or red berries, 2-3 cm.
My front yard
also known as the kousa dogwood, korea dogwood, or chinese dogwood.
