Net-Winged Beetle

Calopteron terminale

Description:

3/4" long black body that resembles a firefly but it has net like pattern and ridges on it's wings.

Habitat:

Slow in flight, usually seen resting on flowers and other vegetation.

Notes:

I am not 100% certain this is a terminale but it comes as close as any I've found. When I was filming the video and taking pics, it was raising it's wings in a defensive mode as the net-winged beetle does when it feels threatened.
