Cattails

Description:

A Cattail is a tall reedy plant that gets its name from it's long brown cylinder shaped flower spikes.

Habitat:

Cattails grow in marshes along the edges of ponds, lakes, rivers and ditches. It is an obligate wetland species which means it is always found near or in water
