Aulacophora sp.
Mostly just yellow, I initially thought it would be Aulacophora indica as it is the most common of the genus but the insect is more orange, mine is more yellow. I'm not sure if it's because of the camera flash that washed out the color or the maturity/variability of the insect but to be sure I put the spotting in genus level.
Spotted at night on a shrubland/grassland habitat with a few pioneer tree species. I found this bug on an Elephant's Ear (Macaranga tanarius) leaf which I guess is one of its host plants.
