Frog
It's different shades of green has a tail and has four legs has spots has two eyes and a mouth
It was on the pond near the mud in the water near some roots
hey I have a Lithobates in my throat...hmmm....frog is better although not in the id suggestion
"Tadpole halfway to a frog" is not a common name. This is a metamorphosing frog. And "Frog" is not a scientific name. This looks like a species in the Genus Lithobates, but it's impossible to be sure from the quality of this photo.
