Day gecko

Phelsuma lineata

Description:

A small green gecko hiding in a pandanas palm. Phelsuma lineata, the lined day gecko, is a species of diurnal gecko native to Madagascar. The lined day gecko has soft, green skin on its back and a distinct black band running down the side of its body, bordered on the lower edge by a light-coloured stripe. It commonly measures between 10 and 14.5 cm in length.

Habitat:

Eastern Madagascan rainforest.
