Description:

The smallest of the chipmunks and with the widest range. They have three dark lines down there back with white between the dark line. Three lines also across the face with one white line over the eye and one below. Orange tinge on the flanks and side of neck.

Habitat:

Found in many differnt habitats, this one was spotted foraging in the open at the base of a mountain near the trees.
