Description:

Cerambycid with an elongated body of 9 - 14 mm in length, long black antennae and very characteristic red and black colours with two black spots on the back. Legs with black and red segments. Its life cycle expands 2-3 years. Adults appear during May-June. Larvae feed on coniferous and deciduous trees. Adults feed on Umbeliferae flowers.

Habitat:

Noth Africa, Iberian peninsula and South of France. Spotted on Thapsia villosa. Pine tree and Holm oak forest.
