Spotting

Description:

Small body about 6" high. Long orange legs (relative to height) with long, thin, widely spread digits. Brownish-orange chest and underbelly. White lines extending from eyes to beak and along top sides of head. Would not fly but would flutter its wings to get away.

Habitat:

Was found on school parking lot berm. Seemed like an odd place bc it looks like a shore bird of some type.
