Green sea turtle

Chelonia mydas

Description:

One of the most wonderful sights, the Green Sea Turtle in its habitat. This endangered specie was on the Caribbean Sea in Akumal, Mexico. I watched it while I was snorkelling. I saw several of these turtles grassing on the shallow bottom of the sea near the beach. Akumal means "place of the turtles" in the Mayan language. See the video.

Habitat:

Carebbean sea.

Notes:

This is my 2,900 spotting.
