Found on the muddy banks of a central Minnesota lake. Thick aquatic vegetation.
This is a Bullfrog as Jellis said, but she gave the incorrect scientific name. The Genus is Lithobates for the true frogs in North America now, has been that way since 2009. So the correct scientific name is Lithobates catesbeianus.
