Hairy Flower Scarab

Description:

Feeding near a lot of bees, and hairy like a bee, but shorter and rounder. Lots of hair. Very shiny markings.

Habitat:

Feeding on a flowering bush, in town.

Notes:

How common are these? I don't remember seeing one before.
