Unknown specimen

Description:

Two miniscule egg shaped structures, about 1 mm each floating in a very small rock pool. They appeared to be moving but this could have caused by the almost imperceptible movement of the water in the pool. Also, there were air bubbles rising from the algae at the bottom of the pool.

Habitat:

In a rock pool in a fossil beach geological reserve.-Mornington Peninsula, Victoria.

Notes:

Posting this as a specimen/s of interest. Might be eggs of a small sea creature?
