Genus Phyllophaga

Description:

Found on the side of a tree in a wooded area. The tree had a large night light attached to it. Some sort of Scarab beetle, maybe a May Bug, Phyllophaga quercus?

Habitat:

Wooded area, mostly pine and oak trees.
