Allium stellatum

Description:

Also known as Autumn Wild Onion. This plant has a dome-like cluster of flowers that are lavender pink, sometimes white with a spot of yellow in the center. The plant has a single cluster at the end of a leafless stem which rises above flat, grass-like basal leaves.

Habitat:

Spotted near the Tamarac visitor center. This plant likes drier and open places such as sandy rocky prairie.
