A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Dark green grass with slight variation in color. The soil underneath it is moist (probably because of the sprinklers) and chocolate brown at the top but gets gradually lighter. At 10 cm the soil is light brown and drier.
Habitat type: In the Carnegie Mellon green spine (garden). There are many palm trees (around 40) in sight and small, short shrubs with with jagged leafs. The shrubs are dark green and their top looks like the top of a cauliflower. There are also small, light green, leafy plants in sight.
