Tri Colored Heron

Egretta tricolor

Description:

Tri Colored Heron. Eat mostly fish by spearing them with their bills.

Habitat:

This guy or gal, lives on Hilton Head Island.

Notes:

He or she, was having fun trying to be sneaky and nab a human fisherman's catch. I particularly like the ones of birdy by the fishing pole. Pretty neat little contrast between the fisher bird who used his or her bill and our fishing poles we use.

The link I provided in my suggestion explains many differences between your bird and a tri-colored heron. This is a great blue heron.
