Anatolian Black Goat

Description:

Domesticated goat commonly found in Turkey. The Anatolian Black Goat is a breed from Turkey.

Habitat:

Can be found in the mountains in large herds where they tend to spend much of the year. The goat herders will sent up camp where ever there is enough food to fee the herd. They mainly fee on grass, and small olive, almond and pine saplings.

Notes:

This one was part of a fairly large heard of goats that we have seen in this part of the mountain for the last 5 years.
