Yeah, the lighting wasn't very good when I took it... pretty early in the morning, not too long after the sun had rose. It's a pity my camera doesn't do well in low light, since birds are so active at dawn and I almost always get the best picture opportunities then!

It is a good picture, but I would always think about the light, where it is, is important. Light behind you is the best. And actually for blue and yellow flowers, you get your best pictures on cloudy days.

So that's what this is! I just saw one of these in Connecticut this morning and was wondering if it was some kind of jay. Guess not. Cool shot.
