Bald Eagle

Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Description:

Two Bald Eagles

Notes:

On the beach and these two flew out of the fog on the water. They had taken down another bird (unspecified) and where feasting on it. Both eagles were covered in feathers of their prey. This picture is taken at 25 feet away. They were "comfortable" with me getting closer - to a degree My partner looks on as one flies right in front of her.
