P.c. mobilensis (Mobile Bay cooter) from the Gulf watersheds of the Florida Panhandle to extreme southeastern Texas. It is smaller and lighter in color than other cooters. Its head stripes are red/orange. http://www.turtlepuddle.org/american/coo...
I'm not sure if they are carnivorous, people feed them bread. There are some snapping turtle also in the same lake, I will photograph those when I get time, they are much larger.
Seems to be some form of red eared slider. They have red markings along the head, along with pointed faces, that seem to snap, if I'm correct, right? Also, are they carnivorous? If they are, and will eat small fishes, snapping them in two, they could be of the variety I think they are.
