No problem. This is our way of connecting to the islands.
I came across the family pandan from this http://archive.fieldmuseum.org/vanishing... courtesy of the Field Museum while preparing a blog entry (on Philippine forest mice). Your leaf is familiar but the flower isn't. So I just start from there.
By the way, the website is about the rainforest of the Philippines. It is a good read but it seriously needs updating.
You're right alice and nath. Thanks a lot. This is has long been an ID mystery. Great to finally have it solved. I know you'll try your hardest to ID all my unknown Philippines spottings. Thanks again!
I don't its think Dendrobium, its not an orchid. My closest guess was maybe a species of Costa, but not sure. Thanks for your hardwork and dedication to researching and ID'ing others spottings.

Let me guess. It's a climbing pandan (Freycinetia multiflora).

Thanks Ashish, but I can't find any images of Trias. Have any leads on pics?

Hi Dandoucette, I think you placed your marker at the wrong place.
