Fringed Moon lichen

Description:

Fringed moon lichen is known for its fishy odor. The upper surface is dark-brown to almost black when wet. Pale brown when dry. Lob margins curl upward. Unknown spindle-shaped pink Coral in the center making it a very pretty picture.

Habitat:

It is found in moss mats on conifers and hardwoods.
