Description:

An Autumn Meadowhawk dragonfly spotted along the boardwalk at Huntley Meadows Park. This individual is a female, as indicated by its coloration and terminal appendages. Notice the dark-colored insect extending from the dragonfly’s mouth, near the bottom of its face.
