hmmm. Youre evidence is strong. Well done, bayucca, you just might have nailed it! Boy are they similar, though. The beak is the main piece of evidence you have. good job!

Chestnut is OK, but in my eyes this looks more like the Chestnut-breasted Coronet, Boissonneaua matthewsii.
Bill is completely black, whereas in Amazilia castaneiventris it is red on the underside:
