Habitat:

grassy wetlands, near the Long Tom River

Notes:

Could easily be called a buttercup but isn't the field buttercup (Ranunculus).

Thanks, Josh. It is a beautiful sea of yellow at the Country Fair site right now, almost knee-high.

This species is the only Ranunculus in the area with non-lobed leaves that I know of. In much of its range it is dwarfed, however in Oregon it gets quite big as you see.
