vine, red blooms, possibly P. Vitifolia but the leaves don't match. Need some help on this one

Spotted this growing along the road leading into the Iwokrama Centre for Rainforest Development and Conservation. The blooms were far from the road and high in a tree and these were the best pics I could manage.

LOVE the colour on this one, and what amazing looking flowers. Gosh, your photos make me want to go to South America even more than I already do!
