Tree that has amazing clustered purple blooms that come off both the branches and off the trunk itself. So beautiful.

This has an edible flower during early spring. They are sweet and tart and great in salads!

Thank you, I've been looking up all the trees in central park to identify it, but no luck so far.
Not quite sure what this is, though it's very pretty!
