Balanus glandula
These little white Acorn Barnacles were growing everywhere on the washed up driftwood along the shoreline of the Bight (a "bight" in Alaska refers to the small, sandy coves along the shorelines of the Inner Passage). These little barnacles look more like Pop-corn than acorns! They were growing along with a species of red algae and other small bivalves.
