I think this maybe a Nursery Web Spider but not sure. He was sitting on the wall of our house in Turkey with rather a large lunch. His body was around 2 cms in length and quite distinctive being white with a black strip running down the centre from head to tail. I also noticed that the head part and the body part were of similar length.

I'm pretty sure you are right with nursery web spider. I got some pictures of one last year and she looked just like yours.
