Marigold petals are more ruffled looking. http://images.flowers.vg/1024x768/marigo...

Zinnia's have more rounded and defined petals.

I just google Canary bird flowers and I see what you mean Ashish. They do look very similar but if you look at the leaves, they don't match up with canary bird, they look like marigold.
