Description:

Can grow to 15 feet, but often a small container plant. Leaves green, ovate, pointed at tips, w/dentate edges. Flowers bright red on long drooping tassel-like spikes. Turn brown when old.

Habitat:

Likes rich compost w/out full sun, not cold hardy. Flowers spring & summer. FL 32771
