Panthera pardus
Hiding behind the bush, it was a tough time for me to get a focus lock on it.
Sundarbans in East coast of India and state is West Bengal close to Kolkata city. Ranthambhor National park is in Rajasthan state almost about on West edge of India(http://wikimapia.org/#lat=26.0367334&lon=76.4325714&z=13&l=0&m=b).
We were in Ranthambore for a day in which we saw all the animals except the big cats at the water hole. No luck with Tigers. I also enjoyed the historical aspect of the park . there are almost 300 species of birds in that park. So about 25 species only.
Are the Sunder-bans nearby?
i heard that they have beautiful birds too.....
@ AshishNimkar ... It was actually after a failed attempt of catching some deers.
@ Emma .... I spend two days (4 safaris), in which I spotted 3 tigers and 1 Leopard :)
@ Malcolm, I will do that..... I didn't do it because I liked the eerie feeling of its eyes in the dark...
Hi Ranjin, I took your original picture and reworked it so you can see more detail, then added it to your post. If you wish you may delete the original.
