nice spider!
Any other info is helpful for a spotting that needs an ID. Like where you found it, and any distinct markings/actions depending on the species your dealing with.

A quick look at the wiki for dock spiders http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolomedes says it may have a distinct stripe down the side,
and most likely would be found in or near water.
