Agree with Cooper's Hawk. Roadside Hawk is not found anywhere close to New York.
I think it's a roadside hawk
A friend of mine found it while working, injured, passed away from what I'm told.
Hi joeysouls! Can you provide us with some information about this hawk? Is it injured or captive?
A juvenile Accipiter hawk, either sharp-shinned or Cooper's. I would lean towards Cooper's
