Description:

Similar to a woodpigeon, lacking the white patches on the neck. Completely black eye, which looks large compared to a woodpigeon. Beautiful irridescent feathers around the sides and back of the neck.

Habitat:

Broad-leaved woodland.

Notes:

Seen from Canopy Hide, RSPB Minsmere.
