Tremella fuciformis

Notes:

This is some sort of white, gelatinous fungus found on a fallen tree branch. I was hiking at City Lake in Cookeville, TN after some pretty heavy rains when this caught my eye. I've never seen anything like this. Updated 5-13-12 as Tremella fuciformis
