Bauhinia purpurea
Bauhinia purpurea is a small to medium-size deciduous tree. The leaves are 10-20 cm long and broad, rounded, and bilobed at the base and apex.
I found it in the garden of GHSS, Charubeta, Khatima, Uttarakhand, India. It is also found in South China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia.
Common names include Hong Kong Orchid Tree, Purple camel's foot and Hawaiian orchid tree.
