Triatoma rubrofasciata
Triatoma rubrofasciata
Commonly known as "Blood Sucker" or "Kissing Bug". These insects suck blood from hosts. The story behind the common name, "kissing bug" is coined because it usually sucks blood from the faces of people at night as usually, the faces are the uncovered part of the body. A female triatoma is flightless.
