A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Harmonia axyridis
Coccinellidae is a widespread family of small beetles ranging in size from 0.8 to 18 mm. The family is commonly known as ladybugs in North America, and ladybirds in Britain and other parts of the English-speaking world. It walks on eight legs and can also fly. They are commonly seen with a red color and black spots.
Ladybugs are happy in many different habitats, including grasslands, forests, cities, suburbs, and along rivers.
I spotted this ladybug inside my window at my house.
