Bird of Paradise Flower

Description:

I changed out the original photo for one I shot with a wireless flash. The flash turned the background black and promoted the colors of the flower.

Notes:

Used a shallow depth of field to throw the green grass in the background out of focus

Thanks for the compliments. I changed the original photo for this one taken with a wireless flash. It's the same flower though. Hope that's ok.

Nice photo - we have a Strelitzia growing in the backyard - they seem to thrive in just about any conditions!
