Description:

This snail can be found on docks after high tide. This small brown snail has a sharp apex and is commonly found among the mangrove roots. The snail is not drying out as it has a mucus seal.

Habitat:

Tropical and subtropical areas, particularly among the mangroves. This one was spotted on the FL gulf coast.
