Eastern Screech Owl

Megascops asio

Description:

Found this guy in a tree a block away from my elementary school. For years, I've passed this tree thinking "What a perfect place for an owl..." Then one night, I saw this guy, sitting on a fence across the street from the tree. The next morning, I checked the tree and there he was.

This owl has a perfect mimetism! And the third pic is very funny :) Well done!

Love how camouflaged he is in that first shot! And the third one, almost as if he's demanding to know who has disturbed his sleep! A brilliant spotting, thanks for sharing.
