The little guy in your picture does look like a juvenile, doesn't he?! Very cool find! Hooray for carnivorous mice! :)

Emily, it looks very similar, even the short tail. This gray one is probably a juvenile that hasn't turned brown yet.

I'm really not sure about my suggestion, but it looks very similar to a grasshopper mouse!
