Plethodon cinereus
Looks like a snake with four legs
Wooded area by Bruce Caves near Wiarton Ontario Canada
Moved to amphibians :-)
Yes...its Salamander... Agree to you both....Latimeria and Scott... Eyes are typically Salamander...This is interesting to see cut of its tail..!!
This little guy had his tail chewed on at some point.
Red-backed Salamander, Plethodon cinereus: http://animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu/si...
It looks much more like a salamander to me, especially the skin, which looks slimy like an amphibian. The head isn't as pointed as a skink's, and the eyes are different as well.
Yes it looks like a snake eye skinkhttp://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topi...
I have a couple of photos of skinks here is one there are different types, like Ashish stated.http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/689...
can be snake eye skink..
It's some species of salamander, an amphibian. It looks like it's lost a part of its tail.
