Treated as a weed by most around here, purslane is in fact considered a superfood and has a lovely lemony-pepper taste, making it a perfect salad addition. Purslane has more Omega-3's than any other leafy vegetable.

It is a very good source of protein, indeed.
Has juicy meaty leafs.
