A green foliose lichen with intricately lobed flat branches that have a contrasting white underside.
Spotted in sandy soil along the Backcountry Trail in the Gulf State Park. T This lichen is found growing on sand dunes and on sandy soils both in the open and under vegetation in Florida, throughout the panhandle south to the central part of the state.
