Common Red Ant

Description:

Six legs, sectioned body, exoskeleton, rusty red in colour. Oh, and they bite. Well, sting, injecting acid into the unfortunate antagonist.

Habitat:

Hole in the ground, generally in a garden-like area populated by a colony of insects - raised mound of dry earth gives them away, usually with one or two small holes on the surface.
