Yep! Many insects have another set of eyes, called ocelli. They usually occur in groups of 2 or 3. They can't detect images, but they can detect things like light.
Is it another pair of "eyes" behind the big ones ?
That's a gorgeous assassin bug, especially the red spikes on its thorax.
